Tidal Water Consulting works closely with mission driven organizations to support restorative culture change. We do this by using restorative practices and building internal capacity through experiential training and coaching.
Our Approach
Restorative Practices can be transformative for both individuals and organizations, but the process of cultivating a restorative school or workplace culture requires guidance from an experienced practitioner. Our founder, Roy Karp, has been doing this work for two decades and draws from diverse experiences as a teacher, curriculum writer, school leader, Circle Keeper, and trainer and coach with the Center for Restorative Justice.

About our Name
Tidal Water occurs when salty sea water mixes with fresh water from the mountains, forming swirling eddies at the mouth of a river. It is also a powerful metaphor for the way Restorative Practices help us deepen our connections through storytelling, learn from one another, and build community.
